About This Retreat
Join us for a rejuvenating two-night escape above the Ganga at Atali Ganga, Rishikesh. The Prana Wellness Retreat is a gentle return to yourself - a space to slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect with what truly matters.
Over three days you move through Surya Kriya at sunrise, facilitated breathwork with a guided ice bath, emotional release work, sound healing and art therapy, an evening at the Ganga Aarti, a bhajan night under the stars, and a journey to Devprayag, the sacred confluence where the Ganga begins.
Every session is guided from the ground up, so no previous experience is needed and nothing is compulsory. This is not a programme to get through, but an opportunity to pause and awaken your inner peace.

Food Info
breakfast • dinner • lunch
All meals are rooted in the principles of Satvik living, with a focus on freshness, simplicity, purity and balance. We serve three wholesome Satvik vegetarian meals a day, along with chai and filtered water through the day. Expect seasonal vegetables, dal, millets, fruit and salads rather than anything heavy - light enough that an afternoon session never feels like work. Tell us about any allergies or dietary needs when you book and the kitchen will work around them.
FAQs
Do I need any experience with yoga, breathwork or ice baths?
No. Most people who come to us have never sat in an ice bath or done a conscious breathwork round. Every session is taught from the ground up and you are told exactly what is coming before it happens.
Do I have to do every session?
No. Everything runs, but nothing is compulsory. Sitting one out and reading on your deck is a perfectly good use of the retreat, and no one will comment on it.
Is the food vegetarian?
Yes - Satvik vegetarian meals throughout, which is the tradition in Rishikesh. Tell us about allergies or dietary needs when you book and the kitchen will work around them.
Can I come on my own?
Most people do. A private cottage gives you a space to yourself. Twin sharing pairs you with another solo guest of the same gender, unless you tell us at booking who you are travelling with - then we room you together.
What if I have a medical condition, or take medication?
Tell us when you book. There is a short wellbeing screening before the ice bath, and a facilitator stays beside the tub the whole session. High blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, recent surgery and pregnancy all need a conversation with us first, and a facilitator may call you to talk it through.
How do I reach Atali Ganga, and are transfers included?
Atali Ganga is at Milestone 30 on Badrinath Marg in Singtali, about 30 km past Rishikesh. Dehradun's Jolly Grant Airport (DED) is around 50 km away and roughly two hours by road; Haridwar Junction is about two and a half hours by taxi. Transfers are not included in the price, but we are happy to arrange your pick-up and drop at additional cost - just tell us your arrival details when you book and we will confirm the fare in advance.
What should I bring?
Clothes you can move in and layers - late November gives warm days and cold mornings by the river. A swimsuit and towel for the ice bath, a warm layer for the early Surya Kriya sessions, comfortable walking shoes for the beach and Devprayag, modest clothing for Ganga Aarti, a torch for the forest paths at night, and a refillable bottle. Mats, bowls, art materials and the cold plunge equipment are all provided.
